Privacy Policy (Tsundere Diet / Petit Calorie)
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This app, "Tsundere Diet" (also shown on your home screen as "Petit Calorie", hereafter "the App"), is provided by an individual developer (hereafter "the Developer") and uses AI to estimate calories from photos of your meals, and to record and analyze them. This app is available on iOS and Android. This policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Handling of photos you take
- Photos of meals taken in the App are temporarily sent to the external AI service described below, for the purpose of calorie estimation.
- Photos are discarded from your device as soon as the AI estimation is complete. They are never stored within the App or on the Developer's servers.
- The Developer does not collect, store, or view any photo data (the Developer does not operate any server of their own, so photos never pass through the Developer at all).
2. About sending data to external AI services
- The App sends photo data directly to an external AI service that you yourself choose and configure (either the API provided by OpenAI, or the Gemini API provided by Google), using an API key that you yourself obtain and enter.
- The handling of photos you send is governed by each provider's own privacy policy and terms of service.
- Your API key is stored only in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS / encrypted storage on Android), and is never sent to or shared with the Developer or any other third party.
3. Information stored on your device
The following information is stored only on your device, and is never sent to any external server.
- The menu name, calories, cost, meal type (breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack), and date/time of meals you log
- Information you register as favorite meals
- The age, sex, height, weight, activity level, and goal you enter for the purpose of calculating your recommended calorie intake (this information is also never sent outside your device)
4. Use of the camera
- The App requests access to your camera in order to photograph your meals. Camera images are never used for any purpose other than the one described in Section 1 above.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Except as described in Section 2 above, the Developer never discloses information obtained through the App to any third party.
